Amy Wright
Knowledge Transfer Officer

Role:
To interact with a range of businesses and organisations across the North West providing information and support to asses the risk of crime, the impact this may have on their business and how that can potentially affect their growth. Working with the businesses, Amy is then able to offer advice and direction to mitigate the risks and encourage a joined up approach to reducing crime in the local area.

Biography:
Amy has a Criminology and Criminal Justice BA (Hons) from the University of Central Lancashire. This has given her a critical understanding of current methods of crime control and treatment whilst also equipping her with an understanding of criminal behaviour. Amy previously worked for Crime Solutions, a knowledge transfer project that brings together and provides knowledge, support and expertise for those whose mission involves the detection, reduction and prevention of crime against the community and businesses and the North West Fraud Forum. The North West Fraud Forum is concerned with fighting the rising cost of fraud in partnership with other similar regional forums.
